South Plains Service Dogs

Mobility dogs make activities of daily living, work, play and travel much easier for people with various types of mobility impairments. People with degenerative disorders such as multiple sclerosis, balance issues from a stroke, or paralysis from an accident can all benefit from a mobility dog. 

 

Mobility Dogs:

• Retrieve items such as keys, phones, and shoes

• Open doors

• Turn lights on and off

• Push elevator and crosswalk buttons
